A mixture of wheat and rye flours, long fermented over a 48 hour period. It has a mild sour flavour which makes great toast and is delicious with pate, hams and cheese. Like a good wine, the flavour improves as it ages!

Can I be brutally honest… I absolutely love the dark sourdough from your bakery but I really don’t enjoy the loaves which have been burnt… it’s cancer in a bag… sorry…
Really enjoyed this Dark Sourdough loaf and gone back for more since!!
