Part Time Drivers – Night Shift Stretton Bakery

We are looking to employ a part time driver to deliver to our shops and wholesale customers.

Start times vary from 3:30am to 4:45am

Working on a rota 4 days a week with a minimum of 20 hours per week, 6/7-day rota which includes weekend shifts. Some heavy lifting.

 

Requirements:

- Over 25 years old - the age requirement is for insurance purposes.

- Full, clean driving licence with Cat C1.

- Excellent time keeping.

- A polite, conscientious, and flexible approach.

- Your own transport – the shop and café are in a rural location with no public transport.

Hambleton Bakery Cafe & Shop Manager - Exton

Hambleton Bakery Cafe & Shop is now 18 months old.We operate 7 days per week and on most bank holidays.Business is growing well with capacity for around 30 customers indoors and another 20 or more outside in fine weather.Our exceptional range of homemade bread, cakes and savouries form the backbone of our offer with top quality coffee a key part of the offer.We aspire to deliver a superior level of welcome and customer service.We have an unrivalled setting on the edge of Exton Park.  

 

The role of Cafe Manager involves the following key responsibilities:

- Delivering first class customer service.

- Recruitment training and leadership of a team of around 18 part time staff including younger “weekend assistants”.

- Preparation of rota’s and control of wage costs.

- Stock ordering and control.

- General site maintenance duties.

- Understanding of till system, coffee machine and other key equipment.

- Relevant experience in a cafe/restaurant environment and of team leadership is an advantage but not essential.

- Your own transport – the shop and café are in a rural location with no public transport.

Production Chef - Exton

Day Shifts - Start times will vary, includes weekend work.

Hambleton Bakery, an artisan bakery set in Rutland and voted as Britain’s Best
Bakery, is looking for an experienced cake maker/pastry chef to work as part of our team.

 

The role:

Working as part of a team in time-bound and often challenging kitchen environment, working from scratch you will be producing sweet and savoury pastry products and soups, salads, and product for our café, to a high standard and often in high volumes.

5/7 rota basis with 37.5 hours per week including weekend work.

 

The perfect candidate for this role would be:

- Has Bakery experience, however, this is not essential, as training will be provided.

- Is methodical and have good organisational skills, work to a high standard under pressure, energetic, accurate attention to detail is key with a can-do attitude.

- Ability to work in a small team.

- Focused on maintaining excellent standards of personal, food and kitchen hygiene.

- Proficient to work unsupervised and be confident communicator.

- Flexibility regarding possible overtime in busy periods.

- Has transport as the bakery is at a remote location with no public transport.

- Maintaining a clean environment and meeting and exceeding all health and safety regulations.

- The bakery is in a rural location, your own transport is essential.
